No. 300 Polish 'Land of Masovia' Bomber Squadron A Polish WW2 bomber unit fighting from the UK alongside the Royal Air Force. It was created on 1 July 1940 at RAF Bramcote. It was disbanded on January 2, 1947, after the Allies withdrew their support for the Polish government.1
No. 301 Polish 'Land of Pomerania' Bomber Squadron A Polish WW2 bomber unit fighting from the UK alongside the Royal Air Force. It was created on 24 July 1940 at RAF Bramcote. It was disbanded at Chedburgh on 18 December 1946.1
No. 302 Polish 'City of Poznan' Fighter Squadron A Polish WW2 fighter unit fighting from the UK alongside the Royal Air Force. It was created on 10 July 1940 and moved to RAF Duxford. It was disbanded on 18 December 1946 at RAF Hethel.1
No. 303 Polish 'Kościuszko' Fighter Squadron A Polish WW2 fighter unit fighting from the UK alongside the Royal Air Force. It was created on July 1940 and moved to RAF Northholt. It was eventually disbanded in December 1946.1
Polish Air Force A military branch of the Polish Armed Forces. Most pilots continued fighting throughout WW2 in squadrons first in France then in Britain and later also the Soviet Union. It used Russian aircraft during the Warsaw Pact period after WW2.1

1st Independent Parachute Brigade (Poland) A parachute infantry brigade of the Polish Armed Forces in the West under the command of Major General Stanisław Sosabowski, created in September 1941 during WW2. It saw action in support of the British 1st Airborne Division at the Battle of Arnhem durign Operation Market Garden.1
Polish Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade A Polish military unit formed in 1940 in French Syria composed of the Polish soldiers exiled after the Invasion of Poland in 1939 as part of the Polish Army in France. It fought with distinction in the North African theatre of World War II, notably during the Siege of Tobruk. In 1942 it formed the backbone of the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division.2
