Description An Italian Lieutenant General who commanded the defences of Bardia, Libya, after the offensive into Egypt in 1940. At later British offensive took Bardia forcing the Italians to retreat into Cyrenaica. He surrendered to Australian forces in Feb. 1941, after a disastrous defeat at Beda Fomm.
