| Description | An army corps in existence in the British Army from WW1 until the end of the Cold War. It participated in the Battle of France, the Normandy landings and the Battle for Caen. It was attached to the Canadian First Army for the remainder of the Normandy campaign and subsequent operations in the Low Countries and was unique in that it included multinational divisions from Poland, Canada and the USA. |
