Douglas A-33 (Model 8A-5) An updated version of the Northrop A-17 for the export market, with a more powerful engine and increased bomb load. The Norwegian Government ordered 36 before Norway was invaded by the Germans and the aircraft were delivered to a training centre in Canada that had been set up for the Norwegian Government-in-Exile.1
Marinens Flyvebaatfabrikk M.F.11 A three-seat, single-engined biplane used by the Royal Norwegian Navy Air Service for maritime reconnaissance in the 1930’s. It was the main aircraft of the Royal Norwegian Navy Air Service up until the German invasion of Norway in 1940.1
Northrop N-3PB Nomad A single-engined American floatplane of the 1940s. Exiled Norwegian forces used them from 1941, operating from Iceland, for convoy escort, anti-submarine patrols, and training purposes from 'Little Norway' in Canada.1
