| Description | A UK Act of Parliament passed on 26 May 1939, in the period just prior to WW2. It applied to males aged 20 and 21 years old who were to be called up for six months military training, and then transferred to the Reserve. It was superseded in September 1939 by the National Service (Armed Forces) Act 1939. |
