Pangborn, Clyde Edward An American aviator and barnstormer who performed aerial stunts in the 1920s ('Upside-Down' Pangborn). He and co-pilot Hugh Herndon Jr. flew their plane, Miss Veedol, in 1931 on the first non-stop flight across the Pacific Ocean.1
Vanderkloot, William J. A pilot who volunteered with the Royal Air Force Ferry Command and later flew Winston Churchill over enemy territory on diplomatic missions during WW2.1
