Description A soldier in the British Army who originally served with King's Own Scottish Borderers, before being attached to 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the first Parachute Regiment raid at Bruneval and was later awarded the Military Cross for his actions during the Raid. He went on to take part in the North African campaign, during Operation Torch where he died in Tunisia on 3 December 1942, aged 21 years old.
