Description A British officer in the R.A.F. who was of Canadian origin. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1940 while in No.4 Squadron at the start of the Battle for France for carrying out valuable reconnaissances of enemy leading troops in the face of heavy fire. He was attached to the RCAF and later was at the RAF school in Canada. He died in 1943 while in 295 Squadron when his airplane crashed in the Bay of Biscay.
