Name Lathbury, Gerald William
Description A British Army officer who who fought during WW2, serving in France during 1940 and also serving with the British Army’s airborne forces, commanding the 1st Parachute Brigade in Sicily, Italy and Holland. After the war he was Major General of the 16th Airborne Division and also the Commandant of the Staff College 1951-53. He later became Governor of Gibraltar from 1965 to 1969.
