| Description | An infantry division of Britain's Territorial Army formed in 1908, as the Wessex Division. It served in the many operations in the campaign in North West Europe during WW2 where it suffered heavy casualties and gained an excellent reputation. It formed part of the postwar Territorial Army and finally disbanded in 1967. |
